The Simplified Fixed Fee Mediation Scheme offers an affordable, transparent, and flexible way to resolve disputes valued up to £50,000.

Our aim is to make mediation straightforward, accessible, and easy to understand for everyone involved. It’s also cheaper than the Civil Mediation Council’s Fixed Fee Scheme. Unlike traditional fixed fee models, we do not charge according to the level of the claim amount. Our simpler model provides for a half day or full day for all claims up to the value of £50,000.

Who this applies to: Disputants with a legal claim of up to £50,000.

Guaranteed Hourly Rate: £65 excl. VAT per party.

Services included in this scheme

We offer tailored mediation services that meet the needs of micro organisations. 

Joint Clarity Session: £390 excl. VAT

Up to 3 hours of support (includes 1 hour of preparation). Ideal to help each participant understand the issues and decide if mediation is the right solution, and explore other options, if needed.

Half Day Mediation - £325 + VAT per party for up to 5 hours (£65 excl. VAT per party, per hour)

Full Day Mediation - £650 + VAT per party for up to 10 hours (£65 excl. VAT per party, per hour).

Additional Hours

£65 + VAT per party for each additional hour.

How it works

1. Find your local mediator and complete the online form on their profile page. Ask them about the Fixed Fee Scheme when obtaining your quote. Alternatively, ask our team for help to find you a suitable mediation professional.
2. Your mediator will hold an initial call with you and explore your needs, and confirm if mediation is suitable in your situation. If all the parties are happy to proceed, your mediator will help you get everything set up and oversee your matter to conclusion. 
3. Your mediator will provide you with an agreement to mediate, which must be signed before you can proceed with your mediation, and you will need to pay the invoice for the fees before your mediation will be confirmed.
